I say let her next costume in comics be a dress as I’m a fan of ladies going into combat in a dress and most of Wanda’s fighting is done through magic blasts and spells and not a lot of hand to hand combat

i agree, they erased her ethnicity but let's not pretend that in the 90% of her comics appearances she white passes as a white woman, glad that she's tanned in darkhold omega.

Yes, the orange hair, they should have changed it back to AoU color in WV already, instead we are stuck with this shade for 4 MCU projects now.

Believe me I do not pretend they've done right in that area and want comics to get better at that, so definitely don't want them going more pale, lol.

Absolutely. I’d also like to see them address her mental illness, and work towards healing from her past, instead of brush it under the carpet until they need her to freak the f word out and wreck **** again.

Also—about to do an 80’s-402 Avengers re-read (including the solo titles), and was wondering if anyone had any decent images of Wanda from her WCA days.

Well, that's kinda what they did post-Byrne.
But for AD/HOM, I am all for supernatural explanation than any serious mental illness analysis since whatever Bendis wrote is just a shitty ground and you need to do some ridiculous amount of rationalization and reasoning. Wanda as a person didn't make sense even by Hollywood movie "mental illness" standards. That part should be swept under the rug IMO. Acknowledging the whole deal of her broken famly and the trauma from it is one thing, her random memory loss and erasure of a decade of comic development is another.

I agree with this point of View on what could be Wanda's next costume, I love the current one allot, but if she where to where something new I along the Lines of the BATTLE DRESS style she had back in the Uncanny Avengers days.

One of the major things that is Truly Cool about Wanda is that she likes to dress in what is considered a Traditionally Feminine style and presents herself in a feminine style. What is so cool is that she shows that a Lady that likes to be in dresses and have Femininity styles can be just as much of a Bad-A$$ in battle as any lady in more combat looking clothing and demeanor.

Wanda presents the Feminine style of Woman Coolly in how Cool and Powerful Woman who are more on the Feminine side can be, changing the ideals of how various the ideals of a Strong Lady Superhero can be! =)

I honestly wouldn't mind they look at some fantasy sorceress/witch/mage robes for inspiration.

I would love to see her back in her Neo Classic look by Alan Davis. Better than going back to the swimsuit.

Red Zone outfit is my favorite, mainly for the hooded cloak.
Since Wanda now kinda absorbed Chthon, she can add a more mysterious or even horror vibe to her. Maybe masquerade masks for special occasions(like extra parts of her outfit that she usually won't wear.)

Also it's probably a nightmare for artists/colorists, but I prefer complicated runes/laces/patterns/carvings on an outfit than plain colors. Should fit a video game just right, since it's a 3D model you can always use.

One idea could be that the runes could appear on say her cape when she uses them, So they don't have to draw them all the time.

Thank you. I thought Im the only one who is bothered when people do it. I find it especially obvious when looking for fan art of Black Widow or Wanda. I mean I get why people do it and some actually can pull it off but oh boy many fail. And it's sad because for me it ruins the entire piece even if the rest is good.

That's the case with her current outfit already since its supposed to look like this

Well as we know many don't actually bother with those fine details. I agree with you since Im also a big of of those kind of details but yeah the art people definitely won't like it.

I am thinking of something bondage inspired like:

Also a bigger more horn like headpiece, a hexagram somewhere and maybe her cape can sprout eyes, mouths and tentacles the more she taps into chthon's power
