I really wish they would tone down Benedict Cumberbatch's snark and arrogance for MCU Strange. Like, he plays it well, but it feels too much like they're trying to replace RDJ's Iron Man with Dr. Strange now.
Checking out old random comics, I did see him being snarky and arrogant a few times, but those situations so far weren't exactly common, and when he's snarky he's may still be talking in his vaguely philosophical sounding way, which's rather, unique lol.
My favorite example so far:
(Defenders#17).
Comics Strange definitely has a droll, sometimes sarcastic sense of humor, but MCU Strange goes entirely overboard with constant quips. That's just the MCU house style. Practically all of the MCU heroes sound alike. Audiences seem to like it. Personally, to me it just adds to my sense that the MCU movies all blend together and become forgettable.
Live Faust, Die Jung.

They aren't saying Dr Strange, but I am definitely getting that vibe from these pics. More at the link.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?
Hmmmm. I guess with the white streak and colors and trench coat, I'm getting more of a Strange vibe.
Well, he won't be on there long, I'm willing to bet. I do like Hickman's work, even though I feel like his Marvel stuff gets cut short. He isn't always true to the characters, though, but I always find it interesting.
I doubt it. They aren't going to pay Hickman's fees for an AU. He's their go to man for revamping and revitalizing properties they want to push.
There's one pic that reminds me of Jubilee, of all people, but this one reminds me of Clea.
