I agree. He would have a unique take on Strange.

Priest on Stephen would definitely be interesting.

Just read Dr strange Fall Sunrise (lol mixed thoughts from looking for the thread.) and wow. Very light on the story and words but the art is just wow. Definitely looking forward to the next issue.

Cool. I'm hoping it's a season 2 to Clea's solo. McKay brought a lot of interesting faces to Strange's world.

Here's hoping it lasts more than a year.

HOLY COW! That Alex Ross cover is AMAZING! I'll definitely pick up that poster.

I'm a little hesitant on Ferry as the artist, just from a style POV but he seems excited for it, and his work is lovely, so I'm hopeful.

The Alex Ross covers are definitely signs of a support from editorial, so that's good. I think it will do well. Jed McKay has been building his Strange world for a while, and I've enjoyed it, though I am a few issues behind.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

It probably is - same writer, and she did want him back from the start, so it makes sense that the story would continue but with her becoming a supporting character to her returned husband in a new #1.

I last saw him on Andy Diggle's ADAM STRANGE mini, which was pretty good. Has his style changed dramatically since then?

I can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that I know Mackay is still going to be writing Stephen and Clea. Very excited for this new series and that Clea isn't going anywhere.

Ferry being the artist is a huge selling point for me. He is a really amazing story teller. The Strange series starring Clea would have been better with an artist like Ferry on it full-time. But to each their own.

Is Alex Ross planning to do cover runs for all the big (non-X-Men) books?
Excluding the Marvels stuff, he's recently done (and is currently doing) covers for:

Amazing Spider-Man Vol 4, Dan Slott
    Avengers Vol 7, Mark Waid
Black Panther Vol 8, John Ridley
Captain America Vol 9, Ta-Nehisi Coates
Doctor Strange Vol 6, Jed MacKay
Fantastic Four Vol 7, Ryan North
Immortal Hulk Vol 1, Al Ewing
Iron Man Vol 6, Christopher Cantwell

I suspect he might do covers for a Thor run next, maybe the post-Cates run.

He's also been doing some costume designs recently as well: he designed the Cantwell Iron Man suit, the North FF costumes and now the MacKay Doctor Strange costume.

I imagine when Stephen is fully back to himself...there will be much intimacy to be had .
