Another thing I had mentioned the other day on twitter, but before SDCC we thought the Attuma actor was Josué Maychi , but that isn't true, so it's been making me wonder who this actor will end up being? My theory is Krang or Prince Byrrah, I don't think he could be Namor's father.

Hmmm. That would be cramming a lot into this movie -- plus I would think those two would have a bigger role than Attuma. I always see Krang as older, so I don't think him. Perhaps another Atlantean captain, like Warlord Seth? Well, Namor's father is a possibility. He could have been a Mayan sacrifice thrown into a cinote. Perhaps that's how Fen and he met?

Which I reminds me, I sure wish Cantwell had gotten to write that Doom story where he is composing an opera while he recuperates from a mild stroke.
    Doom with a stroke???

But Doom wouldn't be _joining_ a band, exactly. I'm sure he'd consider them back up singers.

Well, they can still follow up on it -- who knows how long the Black Tide will take to make their plans?

When I came up with Norma prophesying her own return as an ending, I ran it by Tom and told him that since I wasn't writing further stories, it'd be in his hands to pay off, if he thought it made a good ending. He did -- so now it's on his shoulders!

That's true. Sort of like how Diana Ross would look at the rest of the Supremes, even though they were good singers also!

You can read the Cantwell interview here. It's one of several where he mentioned this idea about Doom having a stroke but this goes into detail. It's a long interview and that part is at the very end.

I know, right?! Doom certainly wasn't in a sharing mood when he met KISS

Let's run with this a moment?

So Namor and his folks can speak, and no doubt sing

underwater. places where there is no/little air.

    Imagine that.

Namor takes over the world through Atlantean Heavy Metal

    from the heaviest deepest water.

If I can find it, I think I have that packed away somewhere. IIRC John Buscema did the art, or at least part of it according to its' Wiki. Steve Gerber wrote it. I did quick check on Heritage Auctions and that goes for at least $1,000 these days!

    Exactly!

I can't wait till Cantwell's Namor story arrives.

I had no idea that existed ... but I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Doom would be part of that act.

You might want to find that issue! Wouldn't that fund the GIANT Sideshow Doom??
