There’s also two Lion Gods, a male version that popped up all the way back in Avengers 110 or so and then Sekhmet, they could be the same thing though.

Throw in some original gods like Mantis-Ray’s locust deity, maybe a Rhino god, etc. and have ‘em all duke it out for a new spiritual order.
That would be badass m and it would be fun too, hell.ot could potentially even spill over into the greater 626 universe as well to make it a BP centric event that he is long overdue for. It's a concept that can really showcase the power of the champions and what happens when the gods want a spiritual shake up

Saw it earlier today (3d), and am now in my seat waiting to see it again. Forget about the angry people who want to complain about everything. It was a great movie, with actual stakes that feel real. You can understand both sides of the conflict. But as usual, you have to see it and judge for yourself. In the end, that’s the only opinion that matters.

I believe its an inevitability at this point.

Now the Boseman funeral is out of their systems people will be like "Okay now what?"

It's a bit too late now. Everyone was caught up their feelings for the Last 2 years, acting like Chad passed 2 months ago and now it's too late. No one thought about long term, how this will effect young kid's, grown ass adults want y mourn and feel apart of Chad's funeral and are willing to pay to be a part

I hear Ryan stepped his directing game up. However, his writing got worse primarily from doing a major rewrite of a 2 years in just 4 months.

Could have honored Boseman with a great film with another actor. Could have literally had the same opening scene with T'Challa but set during the blip. Then have "New Actor T'Challa" carry on the film like normal.

I wish Emans started #RecastTChalla the day after Feige's announcement instead of that April. We really needed to build more momentum on this. Although as you said people/fans were still in their feelings.

Well in my case its more general disinterest.

I do not give a rat's ass about Shuri or anyone else in the supporting cast. I watched the movie because of the big guy himself and without him there's just not much of a reason to come back. I do not regard Shuri as nowhere near interesting a character to watch a movie about her.

Granted I will watch it cause I watch all the MCU stuff, I already have the tickets lined up for Tuesday to watch alongside the fam.

Okay granted I'm excited for Namor. He warrants watching the movie even if nothing else does.

Well technically T’Challa still is in the MCU. Whether Coogler is gonna follow up on this remains to be seen.

I recently discussed with a guy about this and he said I was jumping the gun a bit assuming they will become BP as it could just be a tribute to the character with no intention of following up on it.

As he put it it could just be a way to honor the character as plenty of stories have done such a thing.

Ehhh that could very well be a softball to T'Challa fans to keep them distracted. Not trusting Disney on that one yet.

Again a villain that messes with the time stream. And now that we technically still have a T’Challa in the MCU people are gonna expect them to follow up on this. And now they use the excuses of it being disrespectful since that character was created to honor Chadwick’s memory. And you certainly can’t use the pressure argument since it’s a new character (though also a clone like you said a few pages back), a new actor playing an aged up version wouldn’t have to worry about imitating Boseman. And let’s be real, the recast movement isn’t going away after this movie comes out. It might not have been exactly what they wanted but once they come to terms with this compromise And remember that Kang is the big bad of this saga, they’ll change their tune to aging the kid up, which will probably garner more support from the rest of the fandom.

They technically brought T’Challa back so now there’s no going back.

Tomorrow is Remembrance Day in Canada so my wife is basically dragging everyone in our house to go see BP:FW.

She's paying . The theatre isn't sold out though but then again that might not mean anything because there could be a lot of walk-ups.

I'll give my thoughts after I've seen it.
