Shuri reinstated them. That's why they are back. And hunter had his own separate group, though now under Ridley they are dissolved again

what you're describing is poor writing. People think "scientist" and use it as a catchall. It's precisely this problem that has led to the fake conflict between the Shuri and T'Challa factions.

stark is not a geneticist. He is not a biologist. He is a focused, SPECIFIC genius. A specialist. Mathematical genius, for instance, doesn't do squat when you're talking about anthropology.

Richards and T'Challa are generalists, Renaissance Intellects. And, of those two, T'Challa is MORE diversified because he has actual social skills and training in things like literature and music. Reed's only great in the lab.

That's never been true. Even in his first Silver Age appearance, Stark is described in Renaisance Man terms, as someone brilliant in the boardroom, the laboratory, and even at medicine.
