At this point, I'm kinda happy for Storm fans. At least they can count on Black Panther so she can do something. Enjoy soul sisters, at least someone is lol.

    Well...

    - T'Challa can't deal with his own soldiers without his suit.

    - His own soldiers don't seem to respect/believe in him.

    - T'Challa cursing and bluffing like he's Jace Fox or some normal dude.

    - Needs Storm to come in and save him and look more epic and powerful than he does in his own comic.

You guys told me this wouldn't happen! You said Ridley was decent at DC!!!

At least Coates slop brought money to the franchise. At least we got spin offs and he was on the Ultimates.

Ridley took the dude off the Avengers for.... this?

Just personally, I've heard high praise for his "The Other History of the DCU" but I think his Batman stuff is just solid.

It seems like he's writing the book more like that than like an actual Black Panther book.

The good old days where T'Challa could take on the Hatute Zeraze by himself

And the thing is Ridley doesn’t even do anything with the suit to make it seem powerful. He even had fodder breach the suit. I officially want Ridley off the book. I always buy BP comics even when they’re bad. How can I support this? His TChalla is a weakling.

Ridley literally had T'challa give up the suit so he could get his ass beat by HZ and get saved by Storm.

Y'all thought Ridley took away to suit to show that T'challa was more than that?

    Naw.

That takes someone who likes the character.

Either Ridley doesn’t know or doesn’t care. Makes him look clueless about the character. Even without the suit TChalla still has his Soul Stalker ability to see and track anyones soul and the Spear of Bashenga. Ridley isn’t using any of it.

It isn't like T'challa has crazy powers or complicated ones.

I could see say... writing Thor or Dr Strange or Hulk and getting in a conundrum of "these dudes are all powerful how do I tell a story here?"

T'challa is literally just comic book peak human. There is no reason to power him down to tell a story.

I agree. But in BP vs. Deadpool and in other resources he is a clearly defined low superhuman. How can someone completely ignore the facts?

I have to show my disgust by not buying the issue. Wake me up when TChalla is back on the Avengers.

What do writers even think of T'Challa at this point? Just like a generic black lead Superhero?

Yeah I guess so. I still think there are different ranges even among the peak humans. But I don’t understand how he’s able to omit things like this and no one cares.
