Would be smart. However, they haven't made smart decisions lately. Just dont have a body. Its that simple. Let it be assumed he probably died, but dont make it conclusive.

At this point Blade might be the only MCU property I’ll give my time to until the X-Men and Fantastic Four roll around. Oh well at least there’s another Cinematic universe I can devote my time to in the future (Sonic). I would say DC but given what I’ve been hearing about the Flash they’ve still got a ways to go.

The only MCU films I'll watch going forward are Dr Strange 2 and whenever fantastic 4 comes out. I have nothing nice to say about Mstvel in general, particularly because I am severely butt-hurt by the absolute butchering of T'Challa and the BP ip. What a mess.

This. Only Thor, MoM, and Blade are currently keeping my interest on the film side.

Unless they changed their minds, Moore already said we won't be seeing "616 MCU" T'Challa again so why keep him alive if we're never going to see him again? I already accepted that the character is dead in the sacred timeline universe. Even if they introduce a variant someday it'll be in a supporting/guest role in a project and not leading a film series.

Why would it? Morbius has zero barring on Blade, it was just a terrible movie on its own

This is true, but given the information we have gotten from them, do you really hold any hope they are going to do right by Tchalla and NOT exploit Chad's death? We got Fiege, Moore, Mackie saying isht like "No one can play T'Challa after Chad" or they decided no Recast within minutes of the discussion, or Chad's performance transcended time and space so on his mind, Chadwick was Tchalla so no recast. Plus Ridley, Narcisse, and a bunch of other people in Marvels pocket are trying to cast shade and downplay T'Challas significance and relevance in his own franchise... Do you really in earnesty, have hope that T'Challa will be around?

And yet Aquaman and Wonder Woman are both royalty and no one seems to have a problem with them.

Don't know about Wonder Woman but Kelly Sue DeConnick had an issue with Aquaman being a monarch.
