Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

    RECOMMENDATIONS

Avengers Defenders War -- arguably the first "event" at Marvel, this was an amazing battle of two of Marvel's biggest teams at that time.

    Defenders for a Day

Defenders Indefensible - While there's disagreement amongst Defenders fans about this book, I personally love it. It's a fun look at the Defenders.

Best Defense - an old school gathering of the old team, with a call back to one of the Defenders early foes. It was interesting to see how the four separate issues lead up to this meeting.

I realy enjoyed reading the New Defenders issues. The line up that included Beast, Andromeda, Candy and the rest of that cast.
Cant say that I have read very many issues of the other line-ups. Especially stories about the original four and the lineups until the New Defenders I'm not well read on most of the Defenders history.

Can anybody tell me who was on the Defenders team for the Avengers Defenders War? I'd appreciate it.

And What is Defeders of the Realm?

New Defenders had Cloud, IIRC. They are in the newest Defenders mini-series Al Ewing is finishing up now.

Avengers Defenders War had the originals (Doctor Strange, Namor, Hulk, Silver Surfer), as well as Valkyrie and Hawkeye, of all people.

Defenders of the Realm were the Defenders of an alternate reality known as the Cancerverse that was in DNA's Guardians of the Galaxy ... or was it Nova? Anyway, in their cosmic stuff.

He’s only ever done three of the Big Four (no Silver Surfer) that I’m aware of.
