That could be interesting. I wonder what sort of " power fusion" would come into play?
Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
I hope Jean gives Cordyceps the Sublime "Surgery complete" treatment
They even share a "Show yourself..." line from Jean
Depends on how they see authoritarian policies and regimes. There's been plenty of western leftists who have been sympathetic to the likes of Venezuela but wouldn't (hopefully) go as far as supporting Stalinist USSR or the Khmer Rouge. I don't really know too much about these people so it's hard to say.
wrong post. Sorry

I liked Jean in this issue. I felt Duggan wrote her as merciful yet still overflowing with that "Don't fk with me" energy which should be her standard. Now personally I would have gone a bit further than a broken hand. Perhaps some broken kneecaps and broken memories. But that's just me.
As for the spore issue, I was hoping this would be the time we'd see pink mode come out and play. I mean she's in a floating "ship" filled with people to siphon and clearly she's in a position where she can't really let her body become corrupted. But I also wouldn't mind her doing that ultra precise TK and "cleaning" both her and Laura of the impurities.

Jean Grey in the words of Walt Whitman, from his masterpiece Leaves of Grass, "Song of Myself" (51 and 52):
"Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)"
"Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged, Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you."
Haha, I love it! Thankfully(?) things are annoyingly hectic and unpredictable on my end as of late, so i'm hoping time flies and the next issue sneaks up on me like X-Men #4 did.
I can I just say, I love it any time Jean is out there in space, among other planets and species, and making mofos put some RESPEK on her name in her own right.
Also, just throwing this out there, I know Hickman is long gone and there's zero chance of this happening, but I still keep hoping something Jean-related pops off from this.
spoilers:end of spoilers
And Rogue mentioning that the engines are black holes
...and Jean being "the freaking former Phoenix" being mentioned by Cordy...if Jean were to somehow tap into the collective psychic energy of a super-dense intellect inside the black hole and either go all "pink form", or briefly re-emerge as Phoenix...i'd go crazy. But i know it's an obscure callback
