Really thrilled to see Jean playing such an integral role in an event. We haven't seen this in a longtime, and I'm happy that she's being treated as one of the X-Men's biggest hitters/players.

I've enjoyed Gillen's Jean and I think he's done a decent job with her, but there has been some lackluster moments unfortunately. The telepathic vote being the main one. Was really hoping to see Jean flex her telepathic power in that moment, and her counting votes was a real letdown. Looked beautiful though. Looks like this one-shot by Gillen will really allow him to demonstrate some more impressive moments for Jean, and I'm excited to see what all Jean will do.

Duggan has continued to do a really solid job thus far.

At this point all individual "judgement episodes" have been extremely lackluster for all characters. So, why should the Jean Grey one be particularly deep, character defining, or revelatory? Sorry for being a negative Nancy here but I think it will be a fine comicbook with lovely power displays but nothing deeper or particularly revelatory.

I'm particularly excited for this one shot. The art is good and the first images look promising. Besides I liked the Iron Man one shot

It's genuinely heartwarming to read fans’ positive and enthusiastic reactions to Jean’s presence and appearance in current comics. And I have a feeling we've only just begun to see what's in store for her!

Jean wasn't just “counting votes,” though. As Gillen clarified over a week ago, the “election” did not consist of “1 person, 1 vote.” Moreover, the election was more like a “psychic wrestling match.” Jean both led the charge and, with her declaration/battle cry—“We vote for Eros!”—struck and landed the first and, dare I say, decisive psychic blow.

    ☝️🏻😌

Oh, Duggan has truly been a godsend for her. He knows how to juggle her sensitivity, altruism, power, and authoritativeness.

Jean Grey in the words of Walt Whitman, from his masterpiece Leaves of Grass, "Song of Myself" (51 and 52):

I'm just expecting a repetitive "Jean was never Phoenix" bit.

If it's instead a positive issue, I'll buy it. But if it's literally just that, and likely her musing that she doesn't need to care about the D'Bari incident anymore, I'll pass.

If people want to know the future of Jean, just say the opposite of what Kitty says and you got it. Kitty was wrong about everything in this event, so if she says next issue says Jean was never Phoenix, the opposite will happen and it will deal with Phoenix!

Thank you Kitty, you made me super excited about next week.

Dare I say that most of Jean's fans will be happy tomorrow?

    Dare I?

This iconic page means things... Very deep things.

Exciting! Is this based on an insider access? Or you already have the copy of the issue on hand? Also, you said "most" Jean fans, so I guess some will not like the outcome then? Anyway, looking forward to tomorrow.
