Jean Grey in the words of Walt Whitman, from his masterpiece Leaves of Grass, "Song of Myself" (51 and 52):
"Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)"
"Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged, Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you."
It’s not a meaningless one shot. The fact she took down an upper level demon while mutants have been much more connected to magic and cosmic stuff is very significant. She is prominently featured in Judgment Day as well, the upcoming war with the Eternals and with her new costume. I liked the issue.
I mean you can hate whatever you like, but be aware that the rest of us don’t have to join you in unhappiness.
Jean Grey: Demon Slayer

Yeah, that was confirmed somewhere to be a variant Monica. Doesn't rule out any redhead that could show up in the movie potentially.
I believe the set of rumors that purported to have concept art of Prof X also mentioned Jean, but Monica Rambeau in the trailer looks more like Johnny Storm lit up than anything else lol
Chiiile...
Please don't! It doesn't even make sense! 😭😭😭😭😭
