Obvious how this ends. Spider-Gwen arrives and breaks up the fight between Gwenverine and Captain Agwenica.

Also, I imagine they didn't want to say that "Peter Parker is dead" for some pretty understandable reasons so they subbed him out for an OC.

Another thing that's obvious. They did this because this version of Gwen isn't from an AU, so Peter could possibly still exist and be Spider-Man. Perhaps Gwen got her powers before him though, which would explain why he's not around?

So WolverGwen is pissed that Captain AmericGwen seems to encouraging the idea of human weapon experiments escalation by glorifying her volunteering for the super soldier serumm…and to get back at her/lure her out she did a calendar photoshoot, complete with shaved legs. A true sacrifice. Also gotta love how AmeriGwen immediately tried to throw hands at the non-combatant sleazeball, cause that definitely won‘t look bad on a national hero.

What's the point of making them multiversal Gwens if her last name is "Howlett"? Yes, I know that Logan's real last name is that, but the whole point is "what if Gwen Stacy was the one that got powers", right? At least Gwenpool dropped the Gwen Stacy connection almost immediately.

Funny enough, issue 2 has a variant cover that's "Spider-Gwen/Ghost-Spider 2099," so that begs the question --- If there were to be a 2099 version of Spider-Gwen/Ghost-Spider . . . would her name still be Gwendolyn(e), or would it be some other name that could also be shortened to Gwen like "Guinevere," or even spelled something like "Gwenne," or perhaps "Gwyneth"?
