Good question. I see she's wearing a rebreather over her mask so she doesn't breathe in his hallucinogenic gas . . . although the Ghost-Spider solo by Seanan McGuire did show that the Venom symbiote she was bonded with could filter the air she breathed so she wouldn't be harmed by smoke while trying to save some people from a fire.
The spider is always on the hunt.
If anyone wants to see his original appearance, it was Spider-Gwen #13.
Incidentally, the Kamala Khan of her world cameoed in that same issue.

Pretty cool. Reminds me of Miles Morales's "leap of faith" scene from Into the Spider-Verse.
I'm guessing Gwen is taking some advice from Jen/She-Hulk, insofar as lifting weights to maintain and increase her strength. Of course, Gwen has super-strength all the time, and in the case of Jen, lifting weights in her civilian persona exponentially multiplies her strength in Hulk form.
The spider is always on the hunt.
I see that artist is a shipper. That MM heart on the skateboard must be a reference to Miles.

I feel sorry for Nightbird, as she clearly has gone nuts thanks to the Goblin serum. However, something called my attention:
+ One of the alternative covers of the issue had Nightbird joining the other Gwens. Could this mean she will end up joining her counterparts' sides?
+ In the preview, Nightbird bites on Spider-Gwen (or more precisely, her symbiote); and in the alternative cover I mentioned, Nightbird is sticking on the wall just like any Spider would do. Do you think Nightbird's biting Gwen's symbiote is going to have consecuences?
