I think Bendis wanted to bring her over, but editorial said no due to the existence of Spider-Gwen, Silk, and 616 Jessica Drew.
And now Marvel doesn't have a single major canon Queer Spider-Hero.

Well, they're probably not going to canonize Gwen being Ace...

Ow? A painful neck is better than a broken one (which is how she died - her neck snapped when she was caught by the web).

Yeah, true. They have diversity in gender and ethnicity, but not sexuality.

If we're gonna go there, then if we expand beyond 616 and Ultimate, the Spider-Woman from Exiles, a variant of Mary Jane Watson in Earth-8545, was romantically involved with Sunfire of the Exiles team, who was a variant of Mariko Yashida. Alas, she was killed off in one of the anthology issues from the original Spider-Verse event, which utterly sucked.
The spider is always on the hunt.

She was WITH Wolverine - Kitty was basically a composite character of her own 616 counterpart and X-23, and was using her Shadowcat codename.
