I think it did to some extent by getting her name and appearance more out there, and Hailee's performance and the characters' depiction was well-praised.

She just can't really sell as an ongoing comic character.

Now that brings up a good point. Wouldn't it be meta if Gwen teamed up with Hawkeye? Kate's also played by Hailee (in the MCU), lol.

According to the handbook-style profile pages in the comics from the second Spider-Gwen volume, Gwen is 5'5" and Miles (from the "Sitting in a Tree" team-up arc) is 5'8".

I know its a different continuity/universe, but insomniac game Miles is slated at 5'8'' as well, i never imagined spider-gwen taller than that, but she always gave me ''tall girl'' vibes, must be the ballet motif, makes your limbs long longer

Much as I think Into the Spider-verse is a great film, and Gwen is great in it, I think it's mistreating the character to have her be the love interest for any better established male superhero. (While making her do a deal with Evil Matt Murdoch to keep her powers was a terrible idea to begin with, the detour from that plot with Miles really threw her comic off the rails.)

It is kind of funny that they've stuck with the Symbiote so long that you forget she doesn't have any powers without it.
