Yes, it was, and often delightfully so. The most inspired turn, in my view, was Matt Murdock as the (new/acting) Kingpin of Crime after Fisk ended up in prison thanks to Gwen's dad, having also been raised by the Hand after the Hand killed his would-have-been mentor Stick. Oh, and the chemicals from the accident that blinded him (and his mother) yet amplified his remaining senses apparently came from Oscorp, and considering what Oscorp was shown to have been experimenting with in the past . . .

Yeah, I can somewhat agree with that assessment.
I thought it was (Donny) Cates. (Ta-Nehisi) Coates was the guy who was writing Black Panther and Captain America at the time. That said, yeah, Evil Sue and Evil Reed vs. Gwen and Miles could have been fun.

I understand them using pink, but shouldn't the blue be black or white, to match her spider costume? Blue isn't associated with Gwen, and should only be used if the hero she's cosplaying usually wears that colour (which isn't the case here, as Jean's costume is green and yellow).
