Ι really loved the stories with Tony facing a health problem.
His damaged heart, the alcoolism, his ordeal with the neurological decay caused by the technorganic parasite he was infected with after a major surgery he unterwent in order to walk again, the artificial heart he received by the Sentient Armor, the Extremis upgrade, his ''death'' from Captain Marvel's super punch in CW 2 and the morphine addiction he now faces after having his neck broken by Korvak.
I think all these put the Iron in the Iron Man.

Exactly. Spider-Man may have a s***load of redesigns and alternate costumes that his more recent games (and game appearances) have excellently spotlighted, but Iron Man's whole thing is constantly trying to improve and update or upgrade his armor, since that's how he keeps his edge in the superhero vocation. That should definitely be a pivotal mechanic (pun somewhat intended) in an Iron Man game. Think Marvel Future Revolution's approach and then go even further, since this will be a console game instead of a mobile game. Originally Posted by Mantis-Ray
