That said, while erring on the side of caution, I'd prefer to blend it with some glimmers of optimism, if not necessarily hope.
Right now I wouldn't be that hopeful, Beyond is making some of the same mistakes as BND and I don't think it'll improve while it's around, specially since it's near the end, but if we're going to be more positive about it, Beyond is nowhere near as damaging to the characters, we have Ben having inconsistent characterization at times and being a punching bag, but at least he's still generally being mature and heroic, Peter in a coma was better characterized than manchild Peter too.

We're waiting to see who'll be the next creative team on The Amazing Spider-Man after Beyond ends. It's not happening but I'd love Grant Morrison on the book with what he's done with two out of the big three, Batman and Superman. Neither is Christopher Yost who is so underrated.

I'm most looking forward to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - Part One (2022). There's big expectations following from the universal acclaim awarded to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018). Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is still the best Spider-Man movie and one of the best comic book movies ever made.

Fair enough. And that was one of my favorite moments in Thor: Ragnarok. So applicable to so many things.

Reading through David Michelinie's run on ASM. WOW! I have no idea how I have not read any of this run, but I am really enjoying it. Todd McFarlane may just be my favorite Spider-Man artist now, I love how he draws him.

Kind of messed up that the OG Spiderman appreciation thread is always the smallest.
