I mean to be fair this is written immediately after season 1, where Clark was written as his late teens, where we was going to work as a a "copy boy" at the Daily Planet. He is probably in his early twenties in this comic, like most modern Superman origins do (young to look fresh out of High School/college but old enough to be treated with respect).
