Outside of Luther, Zod, Brainiac a lot of Superman villains need a overhaul. Can you tell me a good Parasite story in which you can remember ?

Mark Millar wrote some good Parasite stories in his Superman Adventures run if I remember right. There was one where Parasite stole Mxy’s powers if my memory isn’t playing tricks on me. Williamson is using Parasite for the first arc of his Superman run, we’ll see how he does.

They were pretty basic from what I remember. Wasn’t it just basically Parasite was hungry, he tried to eat a power station, Metropolis got a black out, Superman and Parasite fought, Supes dumped Parasite in jail but promised to find a way to help him later? Not necessarily a bad story but not one that is going to wow anyone or demonstrate some previously unseen angle for Parasite as a character.

I get it, but I thought it was an effective use for him, and it came full-circle in Venditti's final issue .

Wonder if it’s even possible to do a better live action Brainiac design than Krypton did. I’m assuming most would just make Brainiac totally CGI:

Love the idea of a Superman: TAS spiritual successor that focuses on the aspects of the Superman mythology that are underused

I wish more of the Bronze Age villains were revamped.
I’m one of the few that liked the BlackRock revamp in the early 2000s.

Not many Bronze age names come to my mind honestly.

The Sandman creature? The Galactic Golem? Satanis and Sirene?

I always thought Lord Satanus and Lady Blaze were updates versions of Satanus and Sirene
