That’s hilarious if deliberate (although I remember seeing a similar s-shield in an old Pre-Crisis issue which may be the real origin). Still fits with Superdoom being a “whoring out” of the Superman brand by corporate interests.

Dan Jurgens mentioned on Twitter that he was planning to use Conduit after Action #1000 before he was taken off the book.

Curious what his story would’ve been, but unless he planned on heavily revamping Conduit I don’t know how to feel. Not really a fan of bringing back Byrne establishing Clark as a football star.

Yes, with a writer of a clear idea and a direction, any character can be redeemed.

Sadly, for Nuclear Man, Bendis was not that writer.

(I would add also than there is also an oportunity window of time, to certain characters to try to shine, but that is to ambogous to explain.)
