Has Doomsday had any significant (not a flashback or mention) appearance since New 52 Superman: Doomed?
Jurgens brought back his version of Doomsday, or the Pre Flashpoint version of the character, in his first Action Comics Rebirth story 'Path of Doom.' Pre Flashpoint Superman, Lex Luthor, and Wonder Woman all team up to stop his rampage in Metropolis, Doomsday somehow senses Jon and goes after him forcing Superman to lure him to his mountain Fortress of Solitude and send him to the Phantom Zone. Mr. Oz aka Jor-El intercepted the Phantom Zone Beam and imprisoned Doomsday in his pocket dimension to remove the threat Doomsday poses to Superman. He briefly shows up in Tynion's Detective Comics where Tim Drake and his Titans Tomorrow Future Self had to battle him before they escaped Mr. Oz's pocket dimension. I don't think Doomsday has appeared in current DC Comics since then.
Busiek talking about his take on Terra-Man:
https://twitter.com/kurtbusiek/statu...124990465?s=21Another bit I wish I’d gotten to was how to make Terra-Man work as a recurring villain. Multiple writers have tried, and it always felt to me like they’d built a new character around the name, but lost the original concept. And it’s not that great a name.
But Terra-Man had...
been created as a way of taking one of the world’s top movie stars (Clint Eastwood) and making a Superman villain out of him.
So. I really liked the idea of Terra-Man as a man from Earth (from the Old West) who’d been taken to space and became a menace, a nice reversal of...
Superman’s origin. And I thought that Terra-Man as a space bandit, riding that freaking Pegasus amid blaster bolts as he led a gang of alien outlaws in attacks on interstellar shipping was visually appealing.
Like Old West train robbers in a Star Wars setting.
But what we usually saw was Terra-Man on Earth, doing rodeo-type stuff, and it just seemed blah.
So I wanted to push further with the origin-reversal.
Terra-Man is the Menace from Earth. The galaxy fears him, because he’s crafty, ruthless and super-powered. And there’s only... one place in the galaxy where he’s powerless. Earth.
So Earth is where Terra-Man gets imprisoned. And where his gang comes to break him out.
So he gets “Breakout on Panet Earth” as a story, and he gets “Robbing the Battlestar Galactica” stories...
but he doesn’t get “Terra-Man rides Superman like a mustang outside the WGBS building” stories any more.
I think it’d have been a blast.

Terra-Man can totally work as a serious threat, he just needs a redesign, something in the vein of what Nimrod or the LoSH cartoon take looked like would help sell him as a legit villain:
Lean into the cowboy aesthetic in a way that looks cool instead of corny.
I loved his idea for Lexor secretly being Daxam, that would’ve been amazing! Vartox being Space Namor would’ve been interesting, hard for me to picture that considering I see Vartox as trashy rather than regal lol.

https://twitter.com/kurtbusiek/statu...004384258?s=21I wanted Maxima’s civilization to be, essentially, the crossroads of DC Space, where all the various cultures came together.
Vartox and Terra-Man woulud both interact with that well.
