A bit silly and over the top (the dialogue in the last page is a little cringe), but nice art. The general idea could work with some finessing. Marvel has completely forgotten about Kaine, which is nuts. In retrospect, Kaine really should have remained as the sole Scarlet Spider carrying on the deceased Ben Reilly’s legacy. I miss the early 2010s.

The idea is nice, but execution is a bit awkward, it's whatever how Ben's recovery is a speedrun, like come on, at least one extra page where he actually gets to talk with Kaine lol.

But even with this being awkward, man, I get the feeling it's better than whatever edgelord nonsense Chasm will pull in Dark Web.

(I legit forgot Dark Web's name for a moment and almost wrote "Dark Hour" lol).

Apparently the original Japanese version is called "Shadow Time", it doesn't sound nearly as menancing lol.

Considering Aracely/Hummingbird is coming back for this year's Marvel's Voices: Communidades special . . . wonder if that'll at least give us a slight update on Kaine's current status and if he ever reunited with her after the whole thing in PAD's Scarlet Spider series.
