Bringing back Spidercide could work, but I'd have preferred Kaine come back to give his two cents about Ben being a corporate-backed Spider-Man after how things left off between them.

Beyond would have to last longer for that, Not even Ben was given a proper development. I would have loved it. The premise was great and offered a lot of possibilities that won't get explored sadly

Here’s an interesting thought though. Ben will be Spider-Man longer in ASM issues of Beyond (vol. 5 #75-93) than he was in his original stint that was supposed to be permanent (vol 1. #407-418). Of course that doesn’t include all the satellite books at the time like Spec, Sensational, etc., but it’s still something.

I meant Thompson. Yeah, mixed Sarah with Kelly. Jed Mackay has written more issues than some writers on the beyond board proper (counting the .bey issues)

Look, no offense to Thompson who I’m sure has done decent work in the past, but imo she wrote the worst part of ‘Beyond’ so far (and it’s not even close). OTOH McKay wrote the ‘Death of Dr Strange’ tie-in, which was pretty strong.
