    Default Kara Zor-El/Supergirl Appreciation 2022

    Brand new year for Kara fans!



    2021 was a pretty major year for fans of Kara: Her long running CW show ended, but the second live action portrayal of Supergirl was confirmed for The Flash movie. 2022 seems set to be another big year for fans of Kara. King will be finishing up his Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow mini, PKJ has mentioned plans to use Kara in Action in the near future, she may start going by “Superwoman” given King has aged her up to 21, and accounting for her appearance in the Flash (assuming that is Kara and not one of the other Supergirls), I’m sure DC will want to give her another comic after King whether that’s an ongoing or a mini.

    Looks like Supergirl will be replacing Superman as the heart of the DCEU

    The Flash movie wouldn't be the second, because the recent TV series wasn't the first. The first live-action portrayal of Supergirl (as best I recall) was the 1984 movie.

    funny thing is... if you go with the idea that Supergirl was 16 when she landed on Earth... if it's 16 in Kryptonian years.... she's actually over 22 in Earth years. Yeah, I did a thread about that: https://community.cbr.com/showthread...-time-measures

    Also yes, it DID have the Phantom zone in it and it was... well... the Aethyr version of the Phantom Zone.
