Good news, she's grown it out. Everyone except Clark has new costumes!

I actually like this redesign for her. I do agree she needs a cape, I dont know that I would add a full sized one, but maybe a half cape not any longer than to her waist? That or do the open skirt like she had from Future State, that would be a cool look for her with this design and would break up the lower blue better.

I'd go with a full cape anchored to the back side of the shoulderpads.

Yeah, I'm glad her hair is long again and they're breaking up the blue, but she really needs a cape.

I guess we'll have to wait a little longer for the skirt to come back.

I too am glad to see Kara with the long hair again . And this costume is much better looking too.
This is kind of off topic , but women in general look much better with long hair IMO.
There are some that can pull off the short hair and look great, in DC Selina looks better with the shorter hair.

It seems they want Superman to be the only one with a cape. I guess Clark has the cape to symbolize him as the OG super.

That said, I don't know the relation between a cape and the status as OG.

Clark his keeping his costume as is because its iconic and he's Superman. Supergirl should keep hers because she's iconic and she's Supergirl.

Supergirl has a history of changing hers and for a while in the early 70's changed it quite often.

That was never disputed. Its the cape in question...which she's kept in 99.9% of her outfits.

Well Jon is going blue and he still is wearing the "uniform" so maybe she still has her cape also

Also, I wonder how the "Pro Pants" people feel about the fact that her pants are typically Superhero skintight ?

Thankfully she has that jacket because without it....its still a basic ass costume.

A jacket isn't a proper replacement for a cape. Conner's the only one who can make it an iconic part of their overall look.
