I love Generation Lost, but I've always hated Winnick's work. I've always found him to be what I call a "shock value writer", a writer who doesn't care if what he is writing makes sense or not, is faithful to the character or not, as long as he gets to shock his audience. I think he stuck a lot with what Giffen plotted for JLGL, which explains my fondness for the series, other than LOVING the characters, of course, but I'm sure that retcon is all Winnick.

    Peace

I never made the Killer Frost connection until you mentioned it. I always saw it as giving Ice an Angel/Archangel alter ego to augment her powers. We have too many killer ice villains (3 Killer Frosts, Icicle, Mr. Freeze, Captain Cold). Keep Tora pure of heart and good.

The art is so good inside the covers, but man oh man, do I hate Tom King's take on Guy and Ice.

I haven't seen Clue but this is a good pic. But Fire looks like she's about to do a Seance or something.

PS: As for something I didn't like about JLI: Batman's inclusion. J'Onn fills out Bruce's role of Tactiturn Leader and Ted the Money guy with tech.

If it's up to 8 players, I think Mr. Miracle should be uncluded in the picture.

Just a reminder that the JLI team was disband right around the 'Death of Superman' event.

Before. Breakdowns concluded about a year before. They'd already reformed as a two branch organization (JLA, led by Superman himself, and JLE), before Doomsday came around.

Are you sure. Of course I know about that, It's just like the original members from the JLI are completely leaving from the team.

    - Fire and Ice quit the team after the trauma they faced against Doomsday.
    - Ted Kord suffered some badly injury ever since he was remain in the care for how long
    - Booster Gold couldn't fight as his original suit was damaged and no modern technolgy at that time could fix it.
    - Not sure about Guy Gardner either.

Guy stayed on for a short while when Wonder Woman took over, before changes in his own book forced him to leave. Yes, the core members of the Original JLI were most affected by Doomsday rampage. Don't forget that J'onn was still around as Bloodwynd, but no one knew.

i always felt that the JLI should've been more the home for the Global Guardians with the Martain Manhunter as Leader instead of having characters like Batman.Superman.Wonder Woman ect on the Team.
