I don't think people who want clark as hero with his "hero's journey" would want that from clark...If clark was a guy meant to play house and be happy.. he wouldn't be in metropolis and leaping all over the place in the first place.Remember,This is a sort of the reverse of for the man who has everything.
I am glad you like jon here cause he feels like superman in essence.

Plus, as someone with naturally curly hair, I hate it.

Both the image and my own curls. It is never that neat, unless permed at a stylist, and then it becomes South Park goth kid.
South park goth kid is better than a Clark clone. All the constant stressing out about ending Climate change, making world peace, or whatever other problem Jon does in SOKE. Might as well make him full goth.

Messy curls would also be cool, now that I think about there aren't that many male comic characters with long curly hair. Even characters with afros get it cut down, how bland.

You know who I’ve been thinking a lot about lately probably because of Young Justice. Grayven, the unwanted son of Darkseid who destroys the cosmos because he wants Dads attention and recognition.

Would we want Jon to meet him? The son of one of the worlds greatest heroes who comes from a loving family vs the unloved son of the universe’s greatest villain. Not sure I want it to happen, just a thought is all.

Why though? I know you're a fan of Conner, and that unfortunately Conner usually gets wrecked when he fights Cyborg Superman, but Jon has been canonically stated as being just as strong, if not stronger in potential, than Clark, so it does make sense that he'd be able to take Cyborg out.

And again Jon didn’t win the fight. He survived it, but he did not win.

He came out of it knocked down and bloody and Henshaw was still crawling at him until Cyborg(Vic Stone) intervened. Jon’s literally down a few seconds as Henshaw tries to keep going and Vic and Dick had to help Jon up once the fight was over.

Henshaw might be gone until his next rebuilding but Jon didn’t exactly win.

Also Henshaw is lame and if there’s any Superman Rogue I’d be happy to sacrifice for the purpose of making Jon look good it’s “evil Superman bad guy #616”.

That really hasn't been touched on since Rebirth pre-Super Sons. And it got lambasted on here for borrowing too heavily from DBZ (Gohan's story).

It just got touched on in PKJ’s Action Comics, my fellow Red Hood fan! (I’m a fan of Joker as the Red Hood, though).

Those covers look badass! Ram V writing Jon makes me happy, that’s definitely going to be a step up from Taylor.

Yeah, pretty excited to see what Ram V will do with Jon.

I dig that look. Would look way sleek sans the cape.
