Was Tony, Reed and Sue even shown in this issue?

Sort of my thought as well. I generally liked the story, but I didn't feel any emotional payout in the end. I'm not sure if this was because it was rushed, I didn't read the tie-ins, or there just wasn't enough there. This was mostly a Fisk story but I feel some of the Fisk elements could have used greater attention. The ending was the right ending, but it didn't excite me either. Looking forward to the new Daredevil status quo, although it's honestly not my favorite Daredevil status quo when done before.

Interested in reading Daredevil? Not sure what to read next? Why not check out the Daredevil Book Club for some ideas?

Yeah I did not read many of the tie-ins either, so maybe my feelings over it might have been different. I will probably pick up the trades of those issues, or an eventual OHC of the entire event, and read all that stuff.

Interesting article that’s actually pertinent to DD and a lot of what we’ve discussed here pertaining to Zdarsky’s reluctance to create new villains and Elektra’s new hobby as a cosplayer.

I got the last issue and thought it was a good ending. They surprised me with Kingpin's ending. Which is rare for me. I LOVED what Tony did to Doc Ock. I've been waiting for Tony to get back at that piece of shit for years and he got it here. I would have purchased this book for $5.99 just for that alone. Checchetto killed it through the whole mini. I'm also really enthralled with Luke Cages new direction. Looks like DD and Elektra are pulling a Batman. The coming clash between them and Franks hand is going to be glorious.

It was during the nineties in the Chichester/McDaniel run that reintroduced Elektra. Daredevil's doppelganger from Infinity War Hellspawn died and its body looked like Matt. Everyone thought he was dead so he went along with it and became Jack Battlin instead!?! So yes, Chip is once again rehashing old storylines!
