One would think Elektra 100 would be more about Elektra but instead it’s more of a Typhoid Mary story featuring Elektra. For what it is I didn’t find it all too engaging. The art didn’t help. I liked some of the back up stories much better namely the one where Matt and Elektra have a dance and the one with the other heroes who have helped out Matt in the past. Overall disappointing for a celebratory centennial issue but at the least the aforementioned back up stories weren’t bad.

That's wonderful! Very reminiscent of the Mazzucchelli version (XD)

The Daredevil relaunch in June has been delayed a month.

A month you mean anyway, that's a bummer.

Yes I do! I’ll correct my post.

I wasn't impressed either. A pretty wacky Nocenti story reminiscent of her tenure on Daredevil. I found the Typhoid/Elektra story a bit of a slog to get through. The second story was ok and the Daredoubles was fun, I suppose. I found the cover gallery the most interesting aspect of the issue. So it seems they're giving Elektra legacy numbering in the vein of Venom i.e. count all the mini-series and even one-offs (Shadowland) which gets her to #100.

Definitely agree. Nocenti basically hijacked what should have been a celebration of Elektra to show off her creation instead. And I know solicits lie, but how did anything in the book point to Elektra's future.

I think you're thinking of the time during Nocenti's run where he thought he was Jack Murdock.

Yea I was. Apparently he resumes that identity again during Chichester’s run.

Which is fine… but when the title of the issue is Elektra, that’s a bit of an issue.
