Yes, I'm also adverse to the renumbering. One of the reasons is to generate more sales due to the fact that more people are inclined to buy a new No. 1. I can slightly see the reasoning in this situation as the run was "interrupted" by Devil's Reign. IMO it wasn't needed for Waid's run.
The madman is going to pull off the #50 like he said he would! I am so happy he will get to write his saga his way!

Thoughts on Devil’s Reign 3 if anyone has gotten a copy already?

Not exactly surprising news that the title is back. I thought his last run on the title was pretty good, though I found Elektra a more interesting Daredevil than Matt I loved the fact she made no effort at all to hide her identity, shows how very different character wise she is in some ways to him. Mart’s stubborn guilt trip was well done but it does make him hard to like sometimes.
Issue 3 was a much better issue. Things are actually moving unlike the last one which which was kinda stale. There is a big twist around this issue which was surprising to me at least.
Issue 3 of Devil’s Reign was definitely better than issue 2 but rather underwhelming overall. The art was perhaps the most enjoyable part of an otherwise fine issue.
