Hope Kirsten isn’t actually dead. There’s no narrative reason to kill her off after doing pretty much nothing with her leading up to this. She’s had no arc that would make her death feel satisfying narratively. And Matt doesn’t need yet another dad girlfriend. Really hope that they are genre-savvy enough to know this wouldn’t be a great thing to do. Plus Matt JUST lost his “brother”, he doesn’t need more grief as motivation.

Me too. I’ve liked her a lot during this run.

I know, right?! I've been a fan ever since they first met during Waid's run

Finally started playing Insomniac Spider-Man. Only played the first half an hour of gameplay. I didn't like how Fisk was written as generic brute. I hoped he would be more Fisk with a storyline. Hope it improves.

Honestly? I'm not sure yet. The art was through the roof though.

Was a decent issue but overall I have mixed thoughts about the writing with

    spoilers:
    Goldy
    end of spoilers

Was Goldy an existing character or Zdarsky creation?

Wow! Excellent issue! I enjoyed 650 immensely. This is definitely an interesting story and I’m glad the issue ended the way it did. The flashback art was great but Checchetto absolutely outdid himself here with some stunning art. These pages here are utterly incredible and the guest artist splash were cool too with Samnees being my favorite and Maleev’s a close second. I did not care for the back up stories at all but they were thankfully brief with the main story by Zdarsky being most of a wonderfully oversized issue. All in all this may be one of my favorite issues of the run.

    I think the latter.

I thought this was very intense. I'm not sure what I think of the whole thing but I'll say so far that Goldy is a terrifying villain.

I’m not sure of DDs new outfit. I don’t dislike it but I’m not all that excited about it either. Those claws on his hands seem rather ridiculous and the hoodie and mask combo is too reminiscent of Ikari. It’s not bad though. Maybe with time I’ll come around to it. What do you guys think?

Daredevil #2 was awesome. Goldy tying into Daredevil #168 was a nice touch. I have to give Zdarsky his props, I've been wanting to see Daredevil go up against someone new and different and Goldy's shaping up to be that. I like how Goldy is this "necessary evil" in Daredevil's life, it's similar to what Hunter Zolomon is to Wally West. Hope more is done with Goldy in the future.

I never like those shoulder plates for any superpowered protagonist. Same goes to Matt.
