Anything related to Marvel UK or UK superheroes can also be posted here. The Black Knight had his own thread last year and anyone is welcome to go ahead and start their own Dane Whitman thread

You forgot to mention Excalibur v1, which is where many Americans, at least, became a fan of him.

    Raises hand.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

Happy new year Captain Britain fans! Oh and with news that the Flash is gonna erase the Zack Snyder dc movies, that frees Henry Cavill up to possibly play Brian. Lol.

Which arcs and issues of Excalibur did you like? There's quite a bit of mixed feelings amongst CB fans regarding how Brian was portrayed in Excalibur. Personally I've read everything on CB but only bits and bats of Excalibur and I wasn't always that impressed.

    .
I think a lot of us feel the same. What a great run. It gave back to us the Captain Britain we had missed through much of Excalibur but then Rick Rememder messed him up again later in Secret Avengers and Uncanny X-Force

Claremont's Excalibur arguably threw Brian and Meggan under a bus characterisation-wise. Davis' Excalibur is the best the book got, imo. Though it still uses CC's characterisations, it does its best to explain them.

The Moore/Davis era is my favourite version of the character.
