It could be a good thing, if handled well enough. Hell, didn't Jameson tell Peter in the "My Podcast with Jonah" issue(s) of Amazing that part of why it was so easy to slander/libel him was that he had nobody in his corner willing to speak up for him, and that in turn was due to Peter being so guarded about his secret identity even with fellow superheroes? I could at least see Miles trying to avoid some of that hassle, particularly after his own Clone Saga, by networking with other heroes who could vouch for his character without seeming to have as personal an investment as Peter might, in light of them both calling themselves or being called Spider-Man.
