As much as I'm happy with Miles classic look back, I will feel bad and hope this won't hurt the fashion designer kid's feelings who designed the hooded suit after Miles saved the kid from bullying and got a hookup from Janet Van Dyne.

Loeb isn't at Marvel these days so it's not a surprise Sam isn't around much. He never was as popular as Miles or Kamala.

Well I mean both Miles and Kamala have a hardline connection with not only each other, but Parker as well in a Canon, and meta sense. Miles also a connection with Ben. It'd be strange if he DIDN'T show up in some capacity. Nova has a connection with Miles + Kamala but I don't think he has one with Parker. I'm positive Sam doesn't have one with Ben or Madeline Pryor.

Considering how they had to contrive some weird status quo for Kamala to be involved, they probably could've come up with one for Sam, but it wouldn't be the first time Miles and Kamala hung out without Sam and probably won't be the last.
