Superman Son of Kal-el 09 is pretty good, and Nightwing is a squirrel now.

SSOK #9 was definitely better than expected. It even seemed more like a Nightwing issue than the first part of the crossover.

It was also the best SSOK issue to date. I hope DC won't try to pull Redondo to do the Superman book.

Yeah, it was really good. I really like how they keep improving his gadgets in almost every issue.

I also don't know why the TBAS glider weren't included in the comics sooner.

It's a badass cover, that's for sure.

I'm a little put out by Dick's absence on the other covers though. Dude, along with Wally and Hal, is supposed to be a big part of the story but this is the only cover where any of them show up, the other covers are all the Future State legacy guys (and Aqualad).

Still a damn fine cover though.

The Jon Kent Superman crossover has been the high point of the series for me. Dick mentoring a young Superman is incredible. Nightwing mentoring a young kryptonian is one of those things I'd have put into a nightwing series if i was ever to write one, and this was pretty damn perfect.

I still feel like Bludhaven isn't really developed yet. We keep taking these detours. I'm still along for the ride though!

Liked the Superman crossover - loved that it ended up more conversational than action-packed.

Interesting that it seems to be setting Dick up as a permanent presence in the book, rather than ending the crossover there. He's now bedded in as part of the status quo, and future solicits rather coyly refer to "Jon's allies". I think the artist posted a Dick-n-Babs picture from next issue, too? First time Taylor's had Dick mention Damian too, I think?

Nightwing was very competent in today’s SSOKE issue, that made me happy, as did the “wing suit” scene.

I hope things get better from here because Tom made me question Dick's skills as a hero. So I was happy when he seems to be being them back. Let's hope it wasn't just due to the fact Dick was in Son of Kal-el and this carries over into Nightwing overall. Due to the fact writers have been known to do that
