Is Tom Taylor the modern day version of the guy who wrote One Piece? ‘Cause One Piece sold more copies than any other book in history, I think. I don’t know, I don’t read anime.

Sell outs are good and bad. Means there's demand, but it also means DC's isn't making enough.

I guess if I had to choose, Two-Face.

    I'm partial to Mad Hatter.

I don't know about drowning out complaints. I mean what does "sold out before it hit the shelves" mean exactly? I know there were plenty at the shop when I picked up books yesterday-I noticed because they happened to be beside Jurassic League. How many were available for sell? What system is being used to determine how many were sold before hitting the shelves-are we talking pull list/subscriptions? If so, wouldn't those have pretty much been accounted for in ordering? How many were available for sell? And what exactly is the number of books that were sold? Did they sell 100,000,; 50,000; 40,000? Were regular sales normally 40,000 but only 30,000 were made available? It just seems kind of vague, when the writer, unlike us, has real numbers available. But I am glad the run is selling well, and would really be happy there is a sales bump. It even seems that the story may be picking up.

Means the preorder match or exceeds the usual printing DC puts out.

Say all the stores preorder 35,000, that is the number of customers preorder plus the approximate of what will be left on the shelves for walk-in customers

So that's about the number that DC usually print

All of them sold out before it hits the stores. Not just the customer preorders, but the stock for the shelves as well.

The number of preorders (which don't come all at once) exceed the usual amount so the stores have to use their walk-in customer stock to cover the rest of the orders.

With his close connection to Bruce he is kind of an odd choice as Robin villain, even he was the one for Dick, Jason and Tim in post COIE.

Don't know, stories with him are often about getting hit by fear toxin and having hallucinations, not sure that makes sense so early.

Not a big fan of the Hatter.

Doesn't really fit timeline wise but otherwise OK.

That would be the original Golden Age Version, and you could also use the circus connection.

He would need to be fleshed out more.

Also not a good Robin villain imo.

Crazy Quilt would also be an option, he was historically the one who was obsessed with Robin.

Tom Taylor and this whole team putting this book together every month are the best in the business right now. I hope everyone else takes notice.

So... Nightwing is part of 3 HBO Max shows this year.

Now, the quality of these projects can be argued, but he is appearing outside of the comic books more and more.

Couple that with being one of the leads of a Triple A game and a successful comic book run, 2022 is looking good for him.
Now that only thing that is missing is a movie of his own.

I read Dick will be Latino in the Harley Quinn cartoon, which is the reason why he has a tan.

    Is this true?
