For those keeping track at home, Dick has a small role in Superman - Son Of Kal-El this week. Only appearing on one page, but is suggested to have been involved in developing the plan that pays off later in the issue.

Taylor suggests on Twitter that he appears in the next issue too, although the tweet he's replying to is deleted so it's hard to be sure of the context.

Whether you like what Taylor's doing with Jon or not, it's nice to see Dick involved in the wider world!

Thats the trick. There are ways of beating Slade with having to physically beat Slade in a fight. Those are the openings they should be looking for. This is why i think Shiva is terrible. Characters are dumbed down to facilitate her gimmick. She's the greatest hand to hand fighter in the universe, so lets hand to hand fight.

That's more on the writing than the characters. I don't think it makes Shiva bad, just look at how Gail Simone handled her, you just need the right approach.

There's a new commissioner in town, and it's none other than Maggie Sawyer! But one clean commissioner does not make a whole bad basket of Blüdhaven police officers good, and now Blockbuster is forced to lean more on Nightwing's sister, Mayor Zucco, to oversee the old commissioner's illegal dealings…Then, an attack on Haven reveals some shocking truths to Nightwing and Oracle that make it difficult to recover from.

Interesting that Maggie Sawyer is the new commissioner of Bludhaven. I would never think of her to the job.

It's incredible how difficult it must be to just use pre-existing Blüdhaven characters.

Was anyone asking for Maggie Sawyer in a Bat-Book again? Superman doesn't need to be bleeding supporting characters.

I know, right?! Nothing against Clark's supporting cast, but I was hoping for more Sgt. Amy

Ya really intrigued by what they are doing in Future State Batman with Grayson. Honestly a little more hyped for that story. Seems like it has stakes, intensity, and edge to it. Recent run has been nostalgia and fan service in my opinion.
