I can’t speak for others in the thread, but I have an iPad and tend to read before I go to work and a bit before bed, plus weekends when I have time or even at work if I have some downtime in my breaks between classes. Not having kids helps a lot too. I also find that reading modern comics (versus comics from the 80s or 90s) goes a lot faster too, I tend to read far less when I’m focusing on older comics.

I have no kids, no family other then my dad so dont have to go to events or anything. Also being a stay at home shut in nut job also helps.

This is very true for me. It takes me double the time to read a comic from the 60s then it does a modern one. And some of those 90s comics just seem to drag on and on.

Really fast reads are The Walking Dead Comics. I have knocked back 41 issues of those in one day one time.

I do not play video games, I rarely watch TV or movies unless it is something I am watching with my wife, the occasional sporting event, or some kind of D&D related content on youtube, and I am an older, married homebody (as is my wife), so what time I have that is not spoken for by work, chores, family, etc. is spent reading or playing D&D with my wife and our friends. Sometimes I read comics, sometimes prose, but I spend at least an hour or two each day reading, often times more.

Nobody has time, nobody can find time, you have to make time to do the things that are important you (that applies to not just reading comics but anything). It's about the choices you make about how you use the time you have. Want to read more-spend less time on social media. Want to write that novel, spend less time playing video games, want to be better at that video game, spend less time watching TV, etc. It's a matter of prioritizing how you are going to spend the time you have. Nobody has more time than anybody else, some people are better at managing their time and waste less of it on stuff that doesn't matter to them than others.

For me, I try to be cognizant of how I spend my spare time. For example, if I'm cooking dinner and waiting for food in the oven, or water to boil, I'll read a comic or two. When I'm watching the Blue Jays game, I'll read a few. I find if I set aside an hour and a half of time to read, I can put away 5 or 6 comics each day. I try to keep consistent with that.

    Thanks for all the answers.

I read about 2 comic books a day. I can read very fast, but I tend to forget everything when I do that, therefore I try to enjoy what I read and let it sink in. Quality over quantity.

Another month, another 169 comics read. Total has now reached 1281. The highlights of the month were Saga and JMS's run on Amazing Spider-Man.
