So we're only one issue in but so far this was a much more satisfying start to an event than we got in Dark Crisis. We have an identifiable threat from King Fire Bull with his magic warping the heroes powers in interesting ways and a cast of characters that is a diverse cross section of the DC universe. About the only negative is the terrible art by Riccardo Federici...it's just abhorrent with so many characters just looking ugly and unrecognizable.



Not only is Damian much older looking with a pretty generic Robin costume but the female characters like Supergirl look horribly misshapen.
