Melnikov has gotten into trouble with other creators on twitter but I don't think that's why the book was cancelled. The video says that DC didn't promote the Robin series because of Gleb pissing of fans online by going after popular creators.

However by the time the series ending was announced, he had already left the series.

I don't think he misinterpreted it. He said the BC guy was joking to illustrate that any book can get cancelled, nothing to do with Jon being bi.

I think it's because some trash journalist picked a fight with Tom Taylor on Twitter and claimed Jon's title was being cancelled because DC made him gay when in reality the title is just being retitled and Jon is bi lmao. Tom had a whole argument with the dude on Twitter and literally killed him. It was hilarious.

Just saw the Supersons movie. It by the beats movie with douche Damian with a naive Jon, but it had that charm of the original comics it debut. The final act of the movie pretty much had the soul of Supersons. However, this was a Jon Kent movie and foremost, which is appreciated.

With hints to the larger DC world as well. Like Jon acknowledges that "Superboy" is already taken, for example. I would really like a sequel to this film at some point. It had a good ending, but it was still open enough to easily welcome a sequel at some point.

As an artist I am angry with the characters moviment =-= many scenes are good, but many others has no weight, I feel like Warner could pay more employers for a better result.
+ the capes/clother/hair need more love from the production
They need to improve in the distance between the eyes

About the story and characters, I enjoyed DamiJon a lot, I would change a couple of things in the final fights, but still enjoyed a lot.
