Wally West: The Flash Appreciation 2022

In a perfect world it would be cool to see Adams write a Wally book AND a Barry book at the same time. With a crossover now and then. It was short but I really like what I saw of Barry in the first arc of his run. He seemed like a true update of the silver age Barry Allen. A modern take on that. Not angsty and none of that black and white look at the world. He was very enjoyable.

Honestly it probably helped that Williamson spent like an entire run of Barry overcoming his emotional grief .

Yeah, he was pretty cool. He had a cameo at the end of the Williamson run.

I'm really digging what Adams has established in regards to Wally and even more impressed how he's managed to savage something worthwhile from Wallace by giving us a genuine Flash/Kid Flash dynamic again after...what? Decades?

I know some people think it's over the top but I genuinely feel like Wally's "new" personality suits him and sets him apart from the rest of the family. Having him a fun wisecracking guy makes him feel "less boring" now that he's stuck with "married with kids" narrative.

Savitar please. Especially after his reveal in the Surge ARC.

Well, drama-side, I thought Barry and Wallace's dynamic was at least "genuine" but your mileage may vary.
