I reckon this one is a bit of a palette cleanser before the next storyline.
Agreed. Plus, Adams has yet to disapoint. I'll take his filler over most comics these days.

So, it looks like the first trade of Adams' run is coming out this week... 9 issues, plus a seemingly unrelated Flash Annual for $17?! That's a hell of a steal. I don't normally double dip but as I've been reading the run digitally, I think I'll pick it up. I just hope it's on that nice matte paper, not the tissue thin glossy that they sometimes use.

Uh, the annual is the conclusion of the time-jumping/Savitar arc. Not unrelated at all.

Oh yeah, you're right. That's the climax of the first arc.

It actually starts with #763 so that's five issues before Adams took over, by Kevin Schnick and starring Barry. Well, that's extraordinarily random.

I haven't enjoyed this book this much since 'Blood will Run'.
Please DC, give Adams the keys and let him take it wherever the hell he wants.
I'll never understand what was so bad about Waid's second stint. Chain Lightning was incredibly epic and emotional. The evil lost twin thing I just shrug it off as a comic book thing.

Also, yeah, this run is freaking GREAT. I can't believe we're getting such an amazing run with Wally after all these years. Feels surreal and something that I gave hope that would ever happen again. We need to make as much noise as possible to ensure Adams stays on the book for years.

Which leads me to, it seems like there's still a lot of disenfranchised Wally fans that still don't know he's back. This book could be doing so much better. Huh.

I assume this person was referring to the Wally and kids stuff Waid did post-Johns. Chain Lightning and Dark Flash/Walter West were great.

Yes, Waid second stint was less stellar.

Agreed. Even the filler stuff is really charming and entertaining. I'm always trying to push this book on my customers and I'm a hardcore Barry fan.

So, uh...this seems somewhat autobiographical .

So Linda imagines Wally looking like Fabio.
