Girls getting a movie this year and rumored to be in the Flash film.

2022 is her year out of all the members of the batfamily. Whether people like it or not the movies are a major format how people digest comic book lore so Babs is definitely going to be getting more attention than anyone other than the Matt Reeve Batman film (which looks sick as hell).

I'm not even gonna pretend the tv show Titans has any sort of cultural impact. C'mon.

lmaooo this kinda hurt! The same thing can be echoed in the Dixon era where Babs really outshined Dick in most content. They both appeared in lol and now she is apparently taking his dog too? Lawd.

If this Batgirl movie does good, prepare for this Batgirls book to either become a reflection of movie Babs or for them to do another solo with Movie Babs as inspo. And the leaked movie plot actually makes for a great story TBH its definitely inspired by Batman Beyond/Silver Age/Oracle era Batgirl with nods to Burnside and N52 Simone.

More just goes to show how relevant she actually is to the book. Window dressing. So why not throw her boyfriend and his dog too when that’s the objective. Especially when Nightwing is DC’s buzz book of the year.

I have a question for you about another character, but she's Batgirl adjacent. Is Proxy / Wendy Harris still a part of Batgirl's / Birds of Prey stories? Did she ever regain her mobility?

Erased in New 52 along with everything else from Steph Batgirl. Hasn't reappeared as far as I know.

I wouldn't mind the suit looking like this...but the torso is kind of distracting.

So far how long do you guys think we have until we see Lesslie is in her suit? And do we have any confirmation on Babs age? Going off casting call for what looks to be one Babs friend mid to late 20s. So far other rumors are that Babs is already dating someone else and that Dinah will appears. How would you guys like Dinah to appear?

My only issue is that it's HBO not in theaters which will limit the amount people can see Batgirl. Blue Beetle gets to be in theaters now. HBO has a more limited reach then again it will also be in stores as home media. I wonder why Batgirl won't be in theaters but Blue Beetle will. I wonder if it's due to the fact BoP situation and Grace's behavior on the set.Whatever the case let's hope that she does get her chance on the big screen.
