It's an interesting take on her classic costume, but it's probably not Jessica in there since this story takes place in the year 3030, from what I recall.

It almost feels like since her solo title ended that all they can think to do with the character is get rid of her. That they literally didn’t know what to do with her. Got to wonder how long she’ll be gone this time months, years, decades?

I am not very optimistic that she’ll be back any time soon considering the writing line up.

Isn't she in that Avengers team with Greg Land as an artist?

It's just Jessica's costume with black gloves, claws, black boots and a mask that fully covers her head, as pointed out, she looks more like a villain lol.

Yeah, though they are starting to forget her because with her life thread severed from the Web of Life and Destiny, she might as well have never existed. Maybe they're setting up for a repeat of how her original series ended with her retconned out of existence, only to be brought back later.

No retcon required. Gerry was an IVF baby, we don't know who the sperm donor was. Could've been anyone. If the father finds out they fathered a child for a superhero, he might decide to claim him, feeling it's too dangerous. That would get rid of him.
