I decided to make a thread for my Venezuelan wind goddess / air bender because I want her to have more of a presence in 2022 and this is a part of how I am going to manifest it

Ill try to spruce it up once I find out how to make images big.

Powers & Abilities: Manipulate wind to fly, create high-velocity air currents, razor-sharp winds, induce vertigo in others, and draw sounds to her from far away or create zones of silence

Affiliation: New Mutants Squad, New Warriors, X-Men Students

Notes: Sofia became Wind Dancer in New X-Men (2nd series) #2. She lost her powers on M-Day in House of M #8, and later became the tech-based super-heroine Renascence in New Warriors (4th series).

As Renascence, she wore a powersuit equipped with a skin-tight force field and six retractable octopus arms, each capable of lifting heavy weights and firing electrical discharges, carries pulse pistols, anti-gravity platform disks enabling her to fly.

Sofia died on Mojoworld prior to X-Factor (4th series) #2-3 and was restored by Krakoan Resurrection Protocols as a living mutant in #5.

Love this ❤️ Sofía is a personal favorite of mine, her powers are beautiful and I love her for representing all of us South Americans in a way. I always hope to see more of her.
