Just saw the movie on Disney+ tonight. It's... okay. The idea that anyone is outraged because they were expecting it to get some Oscar nominations is a bit comical.
Gillen and Ribic's book is terrific, though. Gillen's ability to bring humor and a sense of human scale to the cosmic stuff is exactly what the movie needed more of. That said, I would like someone to sit down Ribic and teach him a different way to draw eyes. That's my only complaint.

It's interesting seeing how much of volume 2 of the Eternals informed the movie because I can see a lot of characterization/moments that went into it.
