Writers probably used the excuse of limiting themselves to “one baddie per hero from their roster” and all the heavy-hitting-female-villain real estate is fast going to WW with all of these villainess redemption going on.

Circe would have made more sense since she instigated War of the Gods and has fought the Justice League/Justice League Dark a few times. Ares hasn't really given anyone trouble except for Wonder Woman.

Honest question for everyone. Do you see the Upside Down man as a Wonder Woman villain or more a Justice League Dark villain? I see him in the second poster.

Considering hes inspired by a hostess fruit pie villain who fought Batman, im gonna say Justice League villain for that one. Specially since the story he was in made Upsidedownman more of a Zatanna villain (and made her more of a Raven knockoff)

Ares hasn't looked like that in a while so Circe probably would have been her JLD "Goddess of Magic" or New 52 pig-tails designs.

I'm not too bothered by the lack of WW villains or female villains in general because I probably wouldn't pay too much attention to the Crisis event anyway. But on general principle, it does suck that it's a total sausage fest and DC has lasted this long without any major female Big Bads in the same league as those gathered.

With the Empty Hand being present as an obscure/one-shot Morrison baddie, I wish they brought back Gloriana Tenebrae from Seven Soldiers. Or Lady Styx from 52. I love both of those creepy body horror ladies.
