The many looks of the War God
Wonder Woman's Wicked Witch.
Angle Man has a cameo in this week's Dark Crisis: Dark Army. It's short but shows him off to be a bad @$$.

I know DC continuity is typically in flux but...if the series takes place after Dark Crisis, then the next time we see Angle Man he'll be one-armed...Not that he gets used much, but it is another example of writers using Wonder characters to prop up other franchises. Sometimes it's beneficial (Artemis with the Outlaws), but I fail to see how a one-armed Angle Man sans his signature weapon benefits the Wonder mythos at all.
Oh, that sucks but we don't know for sure that he's dead(Joker is the type to dismember someone & leave them alive & suffering) and if this book is still set in the past, he's definitely alive & well in Dark Crisis: Dark Army. Plus the Angle Man has been killed at least twice before(Crisis On Infinite Earths & Trinity War).

What does the triangle even do that DS even needs it for?

Waid's the same guy who wanted to kill all of Flash's Silver Age villains so for as much an old school DC guy he is, it's not surprising he has his "these characters are just lame" opinions.
